Using Chiffon for a Spring Wedding

Posted by

It's nearly wedding season again, with the weather about to get warmer and that means it's high time to order your chiffon accessories. This light, flowing fabric is ideal for wedding decor, particularly when selected in white or your wedding colors.

Chiffon swags can be used just about anywhere in your wedding and may even be reused as you move locations. The long pieces of chiffon are available in a range of colors and you can drape the fabric along the aisle in the church, at the edge of a buffet or bridal table or from the rafters of a space. Of course, you don't have to drape the fabric if you don't want to.

Wrapping chiffon strips around posts and pillars can soften a wedding space and give you more opportunity to flaunt those wedding colors! Just make sure you have enough to wrap all the posts you need.

Chiffon table runnersare also a great accessory for your wedding, making it simple to decorate a table and add some extra texture to the table setting. Use a regular table cloth or table cover in any color you like on the tables at the reception, then add a chiffon table runner on top for a unique look.

This beautifully sheer fabric is also an excellent choice for a wedding backdrop, both indoors and out. A light color will blend nicely with the bride's dress and make brighter colors stand out, while a darker chiffon photography backdrop looks great with the white gown in front of it. Either way, the fabric gives you a nice, soft background to the wedding photos that will last a lifetime.

From backdrops and swags, to chiffon table runners, chiffon is the perfect wedding decor material. It looks wonderful, drapes beautifully and is sheer enough to let light flow into the space and to show up any colors behind it. In short, you can't go wrong if you select chiffon for your wedding space. It will add a gentle romantic look to your church or reception hall and can be used both indoors and out.
